At the Hauptstadt Gym, you will experience a variety of different training forms mixed in challenging Muay Thai and Athletic-Workout courses.
Traditional Thai boxing (Muay Thai)
Learning Thai boxing at the Hauptstadt Gym is a complete training form. We do not concentrate on single pleasing aspects of it. Instead, we opt for a traditional Muay Thai cultivation and a respectful treatment of its legacy. Our courses will challenge your body as well as your mind in every single moment of your training. Your concentration and coordination will grow as you proceed to learn more about this ancient martial art. Therefore it doesn’t matter if you are a noob or a pro. At the Hauptstadt Gym, everyone who is willing to take on this challenge will be well respected. Everyone is welcome as we all learn and train together.
Train Muay Thai with us 6 days a week. 3 times a week, even at 8:30 am in the morning! There is supposed to be no better way to start the day like that. Additionally, you can fire some punches all by yourself on Saturdays at our Open Gym times from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Here you also have time to improve specific parts of your skillset and enjoy some good old pad work together with a buddy of yours.
Functional Training - Athletic Performance
Crossfit is not your type of thing? You find bodybuilding and standard fitness training too drab? You want variety on your way to an athletic and healthy body? The solution is Athletic Performance at the Hauptstadt Gym! Whether you are male or female, 18 or 66 – our Athletic Performance class offers you the option to improve all aspects of your fitness. With the Athletic Performance program, we have elaborated on a training concept that addresses and improves all aspects of our physical fitness! Mobility – stability – power. Drab, frustrating, and dreary training at the gym? Not with us! Go instead for a highly intense work-out that you need all your muscles for.
In our training, we spare fitness machines and isolated movements! Instead, we use our bodies as effective training equipment. Kettlebells, battle ropes, and Bulgarian bags complete the training and facilitate more power, a better posture, and natural muscles. Experience our highly intense Athletic Performance program in a group. By training with others, you will have even more fun. Moreover, our small groups with a maximum of 10 individuals ensure an extra portion of motivation. This training makes calories burn in no time. Our Supreme Personal Training means individual coaching adapted to your very own needs. All training and work-out will be specifically customized for you. As part of this program, we will set up a training and diet plan adapted to your physical condition and sportive objectives to ensure it will neither be too easy nor too hard for you.

Warm-up, shadow boxing and working with boxing pads are on the program on these days. Through working with the boxing pads, you improve your endurance, technique and strength. Punches, kicks - elbows and knees - round for round.
Learn - and improve.
This is what the technique courses are about. Of course, these courses also include plenty of press-ups and situps to improve one's physique. However, the focus is on learning and improving punches, kicks, combinations and the Muay Thai Clinch.
Practice is better than studying.
In this course, you can test your skills during sparring. Novices practice blocking, guarding against and dodging punches and kicks. Learning feints and little tricks is of course also included.
We train with each other, not against each other. For those who just wish to fight, this is not the right place for you.
