What can you expect
The Muay Thai training at the Hauptstadt Gym stands out for its diversity, complexity, and variety. Beginners, in particular, will benefit from the comprehensive training in traditional Thai boxing. In our program, nothing is overlooked. We place equal importance on mastering knee, elbow, and clinch techniques, as well as on developing solid foundational skills such as classic boxing and kickboxing.
Muay Thai System
Training, just like in Thailand.
Warm-up, shadow boxing, and pad work are on the program. Through this challenging workout, you'll improve your endurance, technique, and strength. Punches, kicks - elbows and knees ... round after round.
Learn and improve.
Here, it is all about your technique. But don't worry, there also will be plenty of pushups and situps to improve your physique too. However, the focus is on learning and improving punches, kicks, and combining those with the Muay Thai clinch.
learn and adjust.
In this course, you can test your skills in real sparring situations. Newcomers can practice blocking, covering, and dodging punches and kicks. The learning of feints and small tricks is, of course, part of the program.
Here, it is all about PRACTICING WITH EACH OTHER, not against each other. People who want to throw mindless punches are in the wrong place!
No fitness boxing! You learn the traditional martial art Muay Thai in the Thai boxing courses. The training is, therefore, based on its original Thai roots.
Training with friends. You can expect sweat and fun in our groups in an open-minded and personal atmosphere. No motivation has no chance with us!
Unlimited development opportunities! Become the fittest in the office in no time, participate in sports competitions, or win your first real Muay Thai fight. It’s up to you.

What is the difference between Muay Thai, Thai boxing & K1?
Actually, there is no difference at all, well, almost none. But let's start at the beginning. First, Muay Thai and Thai boxing are in fact, the same. Muay Thai is just the original Thai pronunciation, whereas Thai boxing is the Germanized word for the same sport.
K1, however, is still the same sport but a unique style that has developed in recent years. It differs significantly from classic Thai boxing in terms of tactics and explosiveness but still relies on the same basis.
But don't worry! You don't have to miss out on any Fighting style at the Hauptstadt Gym. Here, you get the whole spectrum that today's Thai boxing has to offer. In your training schedule, you'll find classes that focus on fast fists, explosive kicks, and hard knees, as well as training groups that concentrate on the complex art of Muay Thai clinching and the iconic elbow strikes that go with it.
During your training, you will be taught all the techniques in a specific method to show you the purpose of each movement. This way, you can integrate them into your individual fighting style without just mindlessly imitating movements. Therefore, learning new skills plays a very central role in my courses. I believe that to succeed in martial arts, it is essential to constantly improve, revise, and develop your skills, as well as continuously challenge old concepts. If you just want to work out without any interest in the art of Muay Thai, you are certainly better off doing fitness boxing in a regular gym.
